I am a student. This is a place where I will share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

Weekly Reflection Week 9
Tōtara Weekly Reflection
Term: 1 Week:9
Some work I am proud of… (add evidence and a brief explanation)
I am proud of the way that I have been doing my writing. This is because I have been completing it to a high standard by using lots of language features and descriptive language. The teachers and Mitch have seen me doing this.
Here is my Mihi Art … (Picture)
What is my personal goal for next week?
This fortnights Tōtara goal is responding appropriately and I achieved/showed this by…
I achieved this goal by doing whatever the teacher says when the teacher asks. Also whenever something doesn't go my way I respect it.
Between now and the end of term what do I need to do on my passion project?
Mitch and I are going to create one or two more pieces of food and then we will make a slide show on what we have doon over the term.

Tōtara Weekly Reflection
Term:1 Week:8
Some work I am proud of…
the way that I have been working sensibly and working with the right people. I think that with me doing this it has lead to me completing my work on time.
Something I need to improve on is…
Quality in my work. I thin k that although I have been working well I don't think that it is to the highest quality. My last week’s personal goal last week was…
to make good choices with who I work with.
I achieved this this it by...
Making sure that I work with the right people and also if someone was distracting me then I would move away.
What is my personal goal for next week?
I think that next week I would like to try my hardest in Reading. I will try to do this by concentrating the whole time instead of most of the time
This fortnights Tōtara goal is responding appropriately and I achieved/showed this by...
responding appropriately whenever the teacher o anyone asks a question of me.

Tōtara Weekly Reflection
Term:1 Week:7
Some work I am proud of…
of the way that I have been learning lots of new things in my maths groups. This is because I have been getting challenged and then I have been persevering, which has meant that I have been learning lots of new things.
‘Science in Van’ were at school and I learnt...
The 3 rules of motion. This is the rules that it takes for something to move.
Our inquiry is about geology and our world… (what’s some new I have learned)
is the different layers of rock inside of the earth. Some of these are the crust, the inner core.
What is my personal goal for next week?
I would like to make good choices with where I sit and where I work
This fortnights Tōtara goal was Time Management and I achieved/showed this by... 9p-[=
making sure I am in the right place at the right time. Also when an instruction is made I
follow it straight away.

Weekly Reflection- Week 6
Week 6 - Reflection
Some work I am proud of…
our passion project. I think that we have been working really well together and we have made quality food.
Something that has challenged me this week is…
math's. I didn't really do that great at the start for long division and then as I got shown how to do it I learnt how to it.
A school value that I have worked hard at achieving this week is… (add evidence and a brief explanation)
create. This is because i took my time to make the food and it ended up pretty good.
A school value that I need to work on is…
Be brave. This is because I haven't really been doing anything that challenges me and I have basically only been doing the same things.
This fortnights Tōtara goal was Time Management and I achieved/showed this by...
Being on time to everything and being at the right place at the right time.
What is my personal goal for next week?
Next week I would like to try my best at reading to learn and to focus.

My draft and editing:
Published writing:
Have you ever felt like giving on something that you thought would be easy. Well let me tell you it isn't a great feeling.
I started feeling like it was going to be a breeze. But then as I saw other people people going up it, I started feeling as small as a mouse. When I first got in the harness I felt like a hunchback. As I got connected to the steel bar, I knew I was going to be challenged. I sat back and relaxed until I got all the way to the top.
When I got to the top I had the butterflies. I took a second and waited until... I pulled the rope to make
me swing. "Whoosh" I went down the 17.5 meter swing. It was awesome, It felt great. Even though I dropped my gut, I enjoyed every bit of it.
When I got back on the ground it felt amazing. Especially when I got the harness off. I felt like I could do it all again.
My reflection and next step:
I like the way I used a variety of sentence types.
My next step is to use more descriptive language.
